Using or thogonal test , a systematic study w as carried on the ex tractio n technolog y of total flavonoides from the
leaves and the receptacle of inflorescence of Ficus pumila L ., favourable parameters of this technology were selected out .The best conditions to extract total flavonoides are:1∶40 ethanol solution of 70 %, a t 70～75 ℃ for four hours. Under the same condition , more total flavonoides can be extracted from leav es than receptacle of inflorescence .T he effects of different reagents on total flavonoid extracting are also reported.
