Abstract

Chemical constituents of volatile oil from Illicium simonsii Maxim. fruit was identified by GC-MS methed. The content of volatile oil is 1 % ~2 % and its major constituent is L-linmonene which account for 74 %. By means of metal stainless steel wire for fractionating distillation templet, the L-linmonene content is raised to about 85 %.
