The volatile oil constituents in leaves of Tsuga chinensis (Franch. ) Pritz. var. tchekiangensis ( Flous) Cheng et L. K. Fu and leaves and shoots of T. longibracteata Cheng are reported first time. Seventy-three, ninety-one andfifty-five of volatile oil components were identified with GC MC, respectively in the leaves of T. chinensis var. tchekiangensis and T. longibracteata and in the shoots of T. longibracteata.Of which, monoterpines and sesquiterpines are the main components. The results of analyses showed the difference of the volatile oil constituents between the two species.
