Abstract

Nine compounds were isolated from the ethanol extracts of Euphorbia maculata L.By spectroscopic and chemical
methods, their chemical structures were identified as:quercetin ( Ⅰ ) , kaempferol ( Ⅱ) , apigenin-7-O-glucoside ( Ⅲ) , luteolin-7-O-glucoside ( Ⅳ) , quercetin-3-O-arabinoside ( Ⅴ) , ethyl gallate ( Ⅵ ) , ellagic acid ( Ⅶ ) , scopoletin ( Ⅷ ) and umbelliferone( Ⅸ ) .Compounds Ⅲ ～ Ⅸ are found from this species for the first time.
