Abstract

The effects of the pressure , temperature, CO2 flowing rate and extracting time to the extraction rate of the volatile oil of Houttuynia cordata Thunb .by supercritical CO2  extraction were researched .The optimal extracting conditions were the pressure 20 mPa, temperature 35 ℃, CO2 flowing rate 40 kg h and the extracting time 80 min .The extraction rates of volatile oils obtained with supercritical CO2 , steam distillation and etroleum ether extraction were 1 .76 %, 0 .05 % and 0 .08 % respectively .The results showed that the extracting rate of the supercritical CO2 extraction is the highest and extracting time is the shortest .
