Buds of G. littoralis Fr. Sch midt ex M iq. were induced on MS medium with BA 0. 5 and N A A 0.1 fromrhizome cuttings. The induced buds multiplied on the medium containing K T 0. 5, BA 0. 5 and IA A 0. 1, rooted on the 1 /2 MS medium with supplement IBA 0. 2 and active carbon 0. 2 g.The effects of temper ature , N aCl concentration etc. on a bove-montioned three links of test-tube plantlet culture are discussed according to the growth habit of this species in sand seabeach.
