Four flavonol glycosides and three flavonols were isolated from the pericarp of Sophora japonica L.and elucidated by chemical and spectral method as kaempferol 3-O-β-rutinoside ( Ⅰ), rutin ( Ⅱ), kaempferol 3-O-β-D -glucoside ( Ⅲ), quercetin 3-O-β-D-glucoside ( Ⅳ), kaempferol ( Ⅴ) , quercetin ( Ⅵ ) , isorhamnetin ( Ⅶ ) .Among them, compounds Ⅰ, Ⅳ and Ⅶ are reported in this species for the first time.
