Observation on seed-set habit of Ginkgo biloba L. "Fushoun and "Changhezhong" was conducted in Huaiyin city, Jiangsu Province. It showed that the main seed bearing branches are short branches and scaly woods. With the aging of the tree the number of the long branches decrease and that of the short branches and scaly woods increase. The branches of 3 to 7 year old are the main seed-set areas. Seed-dropping produced in one month ofter flowering, when the long branches are in the period of rapid-growing.
