On chemical constituents in leaves of Iris tectorum

Abstract | Fourteen compounds were isolated and identified from ethyl acetate fraction in 95% ethanol extracts from leaves of Iris tectorum Maxim. These are 5-hydroxy-4’,7-dimethoxyisoflavone (Ⅰ), tectorigenin (Ⅱ), 5,7,4’-trihydroxy-3’, 8-dimethoxyflavone (Ⅲ), 5,3,3’-trihydroxy-7,4’-dimethoxyflavanone (Ⅳ), rhamnocitrin (Ⅴ), irilin D (Ⅵ), hispidulin(Ⅶ), protocatechuic acid (Ⅷ), embinin (Ⅸ), embigenin (Ⅹ), swertisin (Ⅺ), tectoridin (Ⅻ), stigmasteroⅩl (Ⅲ) and β-daucosterol (ⅩⅣ). In which, compounds Ⅰ and Ⅲ are firstly isolated from Iris L. and compoundsⅠ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅵ, Ⅹand Ⅺ are firstly isolated from this species. |
