Thirty volatile components in the leaves of Rhoiptelea chiliantha Diels et Hand. -Mazz. were identified by means of GC/MS/DS, the identified components include aliphatic compounds 51. 64%. terpenoidal compounds 12. 85%, aromatic compounds 2. 75%. It was found that the main components 3-eicosyne and 9-eicosyne, two naturally-occurring new products, are firstly discovered in the leaf volatile constituents of Rhoiptelea chiliantha.
