Abstract | The composition and content of carotenoids in Fructus Lycii (fruits of Lyctum barbayum L .)from 6 productio n regio ns were analysed by HP LC.T he result showed they have same composition consisted by 10 carotenoids , but the content of each carotenoid is different in species (variety).Zeaxanthin dipalmitate is the major caro tenoid in fruit , it is also the characteristic carotenoid in Lycium . |
