Abstract

Using the stem-segment with single bud as the explant, rapid propagation of Photinia frasery Dress was studied. The results show that the most suitable explant is the shoot apexwith length 0.3 mm; the optimized medium for crowd bud propagation is MS+ 0.5 mg·L-1 6-BA+ 0.10 mg·L-1 IAA+ 30 g·L-1 sucrose; the optimized medium for rooting is 1/2 MS+ 1.0mg·L-1 NAA.
