Changes of saponin content in Kochia scoparia fruit in different collecting times

Abstract

In order to examine the most appropriate collecting time, HPLC-ELSD and colorimetric methods were respectively used
to determine the content of momordin Ic and total saponins in Kochia scoparia (L.)Schrad .fruit at different collecting times. It was shown that the best collecting time was when fruit just matured.
