Fiber bundles around ground tissue, three-lay er arranged vascular bundles and the fiber cells scattered in the vascular bundles make the stem gain fairly good fastness . Specialized pith cells, spongy-like tissues which are air-abundant and the canals in ground tissue all make the stem gain fairly good elasticity and endurance of pressure.
