Abstract | Carpinus fargesii forest is a seral stage of evergreen broadleaf forest sere, mainly occurs in yellow soil mountain of northeastern Guangxi .Three plant associations are described as follows :1 ) Carpinus fargesii-Eurya nitida-Woodw ardia japonica Association ;2 )Carpinus fargesii-Eury a impressinervis-Maesa japonica-Lophatherum gracile Association and 3) Carpinus fargesii-Eurya loquiana-Blastus cochinchinensis-Woodw ardia japonica Association .Its successional trend toward recovering evergreen broadleaf forest can be fully proved through information analysis of community physiognomy, structure and species composition change between three associations . |
