Abstract

F rom the stem bark of Shaniodendron subaequale ( H .T.Chang) M .B.Deng , H .T .Wei et X .Q.Wang , nine compounds have been isolated.Six of them have been identified as gallic acid, ethyl g allate, p-tyrosol, octadecanoic acid, β-sitosterol and daucosterol.These compounds were found in this species for the first time.
