Abstract

T he contents of gymnemic acid in leaves of Gymnema sylvestre (Retz .)Schult collected from Hepu,Guangxi in July and October were 0 .67% and 0 .97% respectively , but Qinzhou sample collected in October was 1.06 %.I t indicated that gymnemic acid content in leaves collected in same season of two localities is similar , w hile more different content is present in two seasons of same locality .
