The oil was extracted from seeds of Akebia trifoliata(Thunb.) Koidz. with petroleum ether refluxing extraction, and the chemical constituents of fatty acids were analyzed by means of GC-MS. The yield rate of the oil was 36.7%.Main compounds of fatty acids were 13-octadecenoic acid, linoleic acid, hexadecanoic acid and octadecanoic acid with relative contents of 40.5%,29.6%,24.8% and 5.1% respectively. The unsaturated fatty acids accounted for 70.1%.
