The chemical constituents of essential oil from leaves of Leea longifolia Merr. were analyzed by the capillary GC-MS method. In the essential oil,28 compounds were identified, which accounted for 99.99 % of total content of the essential oil. The main chemical constituents were phenol(15.72 %), n-hexadecanoic acid(11.25 %), phenylethyl alcohol(8.25 %),octadec-9-enoic acid(7.96 %),2,3-dihydro-benzofuran(6.20 %), pentatriacontane(5.90 %),etc.
